She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful, for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful, for her ability to make other people smile, even if she was sad. No, she wasn’t beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul. She is beautiful.

Francis Scott Fitzgerald

Syracuse still shows the intact signs of its millenary history as the cultural capital from the Greek age to the Renaissance and Baroque period.

It is certainly one of the most beautiful Italian art cities and it’s a perfect place to celebrate a wedding.

With bare tables and wooden chairs, pastel colors and gold marks, vintage details such as the lace and the grandmother’s embroidery loom, this wedding has been organized in a suggestive and majestic castle dating back to Frederick II era, that stands inside the feud of the Targia, set between the Ionian Sea, the ruins of the Eurialo Castle (built between 402 and 397 BC) and the Dionigian walls.

In the Baglio delle Torri of the castle you can breathe the whole history of Syracuse, and in her magical day, surrounded by the typical white stone, Ilaria really looks like the princess of the castle.

Sweet and sensual at the same time, mellow, light, almost ethereal in her tailored dress rigorously made in Italy!

It was a real joy for me to stand by her, to get carried away in time and lose myself in its embrace full of emotions!
